Brooklyn, New York - At New York City’s largest music festival, the 2007 CMJ Music Marathon, Subatomic Sound & Nomadic Wax hosted the only dub reggae & global hip hop showcase of the week.  Response was outstanding for both blazing nights of music and film.  Performing artists included New York City’s Subatomic Sound System (from the Subatomic Sound & Nomadic Wax labels), Strikkly Vikkly Dubsystem (featuring Easy Star All-Stars dub master Victor Rice), B.N. Loco from Mexico City, Noble Society featuring Jahdan Blakkamoore, DJ Marihito of Dub Nomads, Chimp Beams, Akoya Afrobeat Ensemble & Main Space as well as some of the brightest talents in contemporary dub and global hip hop sounds, stretching from Jamaica to Japan, Puerto Rico to Liberia, Brazil to Ghana, and Mexico to Japan.
